John, you seem to be arguing the wrong point.
Nobody is suggesting that twitter is home to thoughtful insights, but to ignore the reality that it IS in fact a tool being used to spread ‘ideas’, is being foolish.
It is what it is, and if you somehow have the ability to know what the merry band of blm followers are thinking, then share, please! This tool allows all of us to see exactly where they are headed and to ignore that reality is imho, just naive.
Sorry, I’m not defending the merits of twitter but I am going to suggest that perhaps you’ve overlooked how it’s aided in many many ‘movements’ of late.

Exactly - I don’t get where he assumed I was praising twitter? Twitter is being used so I monitor it. Sometimes I get to see trends before they go mainstream, etc.
