IMO,EVERYONE...young and old, black and white, male and female...should always obey a cop's orders TO THE LETTER.That would decrease, just about to zero, the chances of *anyone*,cop or civilian, getting hurt. And this applies regardless of how unfair, how racist, how, sexist, how "homophobic" you think the stop is.

If,when the dust has settled, you believe that the stop,or the cops words or actions, were uncalled for and/or illegal you hire a lawyer and sue the police agency *and* the cop(s) involved,FOR MILLIONS.

But you don't resist. You don't even mouth off.It should be "yes,sir"...."no,sir".And if you want to throw in an "I will be suing you and your employer, officer" that's cool too...as long as you do it in an even tone (not shouted).

I seem to recall an incident in a parking lot for, IIRC, Costco where multiple cops were shouting conflicting orders.
How exactly does one comply with both Don't move! and Get on the ground!?
