I have a mild learning defect. A disability, almost.

Simply put, I am sorta retarded in certain areas, like interpersonal communication, and complex concepts.

However, there is one thing I can do, and do passably. The 5-7-5 pattern known as the haiku.

It’s short, it’s pithy, and I can usually fit the entire thought into 3 lines. However, all that art stuff found in real, actualy Japanese haikus are lost on me.

My father is horrible at interpersonal communication he had a hard time with complex concepts. He was exceptional with details. Sounds as though the issue is based on something from the left side of the brain.
