Russia has a lot of Muslims...and Muslims, as this guy proves, are not too hot seeing gays making out. So Putin tells Russians to “keep it in the bedroom” - he does so in the name of protecting children, but the effect is the same:
Had those two men not been making out in public, last night likely would not have happened - at least based on what his father is saying. And had those acts in public been outlawed to the extent that they are in Russia, it’s unlikely this guy would have ever seen this type of ‘activity’. Now that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have snapped at something else...but it could mean that, and we’ll never know.

Why would you actually believe what his father said? He was investigated by the FBI for terrorist threats long before that supposed event occurred. The father wants to protect his religion.
