Nothing “urgent” here. Move on.
Wrong. Posting as you did, and afterward claiming that your "article" is a "Personal Blog," you have the obligation to show how and why this submission could be a legitimate according to Free Republic rules regarding use of the site.
I'm calling your hand, fella.
Nothing urgent here. Move on.
Telling me what you meant by your self-created category of a post is obligatory. Otherwise, here is the reply to this arrogant dismissal of the issue:
The "article" (merely a Bible passage) that you posted as a new thread and included your own personal opinion in the title does not come under the "Bloggers and Personal" category, because it does not fit the rules for that category.

Bloggers & Personal
For all of you who have blogs or personal web sites that you would like to discuss or promote on Free Republic, here's the place to do it.
Our Bloggers & Personal forum is for:
- Posting from your blog. (a weblog site whose Universal Resource Locator (URL) external to the Free Republic site URL)
- Posting from other peoples blogs. (Other weblog sites external to FR)
- Posting from your personal web site. (Your personal web site that is external to the Free Republic site)
- Posting from other peoples personal web sites. (copying material from other people's sites external to FR)
- Promoting your blog. (ditto, from your own URL, not the FR URL)
- Promoting other peoples blogs. (ditto, merely mentioning someone else's blog site)
- Promoting your personal web site. (which is external to FR)
- Promoting your favorite web sites. (not just utilizing legitimate other sites for news-mining, but trying to attract FReepers to that site by using FR to advertise it/them. Not accepted under other FR new thread categories)
- Posting from your favorite outside forums. (ditto, not permitted in the other Thread-posting categories).
- Posting from your favorite lefty forums or sites (DUh and the like). (ditto in all respects, from URLs external to FR)
How to use this category:
Click on the "Bloggers & Personal" forum link on the Forums sidebar of the latest posts pages.
Quoting the Moderator:
We know many of you think your blog is special. There are some blogs out there worthy of news, like Little Green Footballs. If your blog scoops something, and we blog it, again, let us know. We see most all articles posted, we can analyze your content and compare it to similar threads. We aren't personally trying to 'trash' you. We're trying to keep FR optimized. You have a problem, just ask, we'll work with you. Again, the fastest way, use the abuse function, leave your name and we'll try to get back to you as fast as we can. You can always FR mail us, but that might take longer. Remember, there are 12 of us and 30,000+ posts daily. We don't see it all.

From me:
Pretty obviously, you are not using the URL box correctly, because what you entered is NOT a legitimate WWW URL; and your use of the "Title" box to express your personal opinion of how the Bible passage applies to politics, religion, or social issues does not belong there. It belongs in your gratuitous personal "Comment" box for posted comment #1 to the citation you give, as permitted in the posting engine.
Actually, if it had been done correctly and entered in the proper cayegory, your post belongs in--and only in--as a keyword in the the "Your Opinion/Questions" box of the "News/Activism" category of the New Thread Posting engine. Furthermore, you should enter the identification "(Vanity)" in the "Title" box, so readers can know that the whole post comes out of your FR ego, and not some other earthling's.
Are you getting this, now?
========
Look, pal, your method of using the posting engine for this category is NOT a "Personal Blog" within the Free Republic site envelope, as you seem to indicate. As members, we are not given a "safe place" within which to generate a personal weblog except on our Personal Profile page category. Try that. You haven't yet filled that out to your own personal satisfaction, have you?
This is not to genearte a war. It is just a hint in using FR according to the posted rules.
