Connecticut has a new anti-gun law. Governor Dannel Malloy signed the law that makes it illegal for any person subject to a temporary restraining order ("TRO") to possess a firearm of any sort. People subject to a temporary restraining order must surrender all firearms to the police within 24 hours or face jail time. The new law deprives citizens who have been convicted of no crime of their Constitutional rights without due process...

Good luck getting guns back from the cops after their confiscated. There are so many stories of cops refusing to give them back, saying they melted them down or destroyed them, etc. And that is after citizens are forced to pay hundreds or thousands of dollar in legal fees.

But that’s the point - take the guns away from citizens.

These people have violated and “trampled” their oaths to the Constitution. Its time to fire these traitors to the Republic and get them out of office.

Ironically, Connecticut was called, The Constitution state...

Yeah, they made it official in the '70s because CT was the first state to have a Constitution. That's around the time they made the whale the state animal, though I've never seen one at Hammonassett or any other beach in CT, or when driving Route 95.

Connecticut is the Nutmeg State, no matter what the legislators say.

At least a court should determine whether you’re a danger to yourself or others before your 2nd Amendment right is taken away.

Only time you should be disarmed by the state is when you're in jail. The second amendment doesn't have qualifiers, even the one I just put on it.

Step one: registration

Step two: publish list of gun owners

Step three: concerned citizens will file TRO’s feeling “unsafe” because of presence of guns.

Step four: surrender your guns within 24 hrs.

Step five: jail for failure to comply

Step six: TRO is dissolved.

Step seven: still in jail for failure to turn in guns. Never mind you nothing wrong in the first place.

Step eight: people will learn to go down fighting rather than turn in guns. Civil War to ensue.
