Men born after December 31, 1959 are required to register with Selective Service. You never heard that before?
Well, I was vaguely aware that there was some phony pretend system using the name of the FORMER military draft.
When I registered with the Selective Service System on my 18th birthday, 25 000 men per month were being involuntarily inducted into the armed forces of the United States. The year I registered, 296,406 men my age and slightly older were involuntarily inducted. So, yes, I've heard of the draft.
However, there is no draft now. There will never be another one. Whether women participate in this charade is of no importance.
And if they did? There is NO POSSIBILITY WHATSOEVER that any female will ever be involuntarily indicted into the armed forces. You know it, and I know it.
So, these "Republican senators" are merely signaling, and stupidly signaling at that.
