Nation-building means turning the military into Social Services on behalf of people who loathe others not EXACTLY like them:

Dying on the hill of keeping the military uncorrupted won’t solve anything, because so few in DC will care (another neanderthal General got fired? Good riddance!).
Big armor is dying. That age is nearly over. Get used to it.
Leadership? We chose their leadership by choosing that fag Kenyan hapa haole to be commander in chief. Twice. What we do and who we choose now to fix that is determinative.
One last destructive thing Obama could do at the end of 2016 is to send in the remade rainbow military to fight a country that can field a sizable conventional force and then assure our defeat before a new President can take office.
