“Has the gun control lobby seized on this episode?”
Isn’t it interesting - a gun saved that kid’s life. The zoo didn’t rely on calling 911, the zoo didn’t keep its rifles in some state armory, they most likely didn’t have any sort of electronic trigger lock...they just had a plain ole gun at the ready. And I presume they’ve never had to use it, until now.
I’d sure like to be able to have my own gun at the ready, even if I never have to use it.
Well...you just can’t tell when some silver-haired guerrilla might be holding your Mrs....and you gotta put a round or two into him....maybe even close range.
