Q: who really wants to go into the hood and challenge it? A: No RINO ever!
The Hunt for Black November
Democrats make sure Blacks in urban areas get little education. It keeps their machine running. It costs something like $5.00 to give $1.00 to a welfare recipient.
I think a fair percentage of them do not vote all - but are nonetheless being "voted" by inner-city Democrat operatives.
Their lines of defense? Attempting to prove it makes you a racist. Actually proving it would make you a tyrant. GOPe would never go there, but some day someone will.
For Africans, welfare, other handouts, affirmative action handouts, etc. trump all other considerations combined. Africans will still vote 90% plus for the rat party.
My belief is different. I believe ALL people of all colors are more comfortable when they find their thinking encapsulated into a bumper-sticker sized container. Thinking is hard. The great majority of people would really prefer that whatever happens to them is explainable in a phrase of less than 10 words in length, and I am being generous.
This is simply a quality of the human brain that we all share. However I think Blacks really, really like this and if that sounds racist please move on to the next thread. Large numbers of Blacks in my experience are so highly programmed, for whatever reason, to snap to bumper-stickerism, the idea that all thought can be summed up very very simply. Perhaps it is because they are in general less educated, not so much in math and English, but in the ability to think. Their culture trains them to not think. Their culture does not encourage the ability to hold a quandary or conundrum in their head and just let it sit there without reacting to it.
The evidence for this, IMO, is overwhelming. From the gutteral language of the worst rap music; to the adoption of simplistic slogans like “Black lives matter”, to thinking “reparations” to thinking “da man” to thinking “I’m a victim because all Blacks are victims” and on and on. This new generation of inner city ferals and their appalling levels of nonexistent education and literacy and commitment to any sort of ordered, functioning society is really shocking, I mean these people really have no utility to a society.
They never seem to get to second and third order thinking. They tend not to imagine they can elevate their lives by acquiring skills, becoming more valuable to someone who might pay them to exercise those skills, and benefit therefrom. They are just whom they are, now, and have to get what they can get, now, without regard to consequence, future paths, making beneficial choices or even making smart choices. They do not value freedom because for them it’s only more exposure to whatever the world wants to throw at them and for the most part that is bad because they think of themselves as victims.
As a result they are intensely vulnerable to sloganeering or what I call bumper-stickerism. Dems know this and know it well. That is why they can gather Black votes with catchy slogans that mean utterly nothing, and Dems know all they have to do is to activate the “under ten words” slogans to gather Black votes. There are about ten ways Dems do this.
Meanwhile, Republicans fret over which particular turn of verbiage will activate freedom loving people to act in their own best interest or for the better interest of their kids. It’s a reach.
Having lived and worked in black communities for most of my adult life, I heartily concur with your entire analysis. The only thing that I’ll add to it is that there is basically a one-party state in too many of the places where blacks live. The GOP needs to figure out how to at least field candidates and real campaigns everywhere, so that there is at least a choice. I only get the choice between GOP and donkey once every four years, and even then, prior to Trump, I haven’t seen a forceful defense of the alternative position. In all other elections, the GOP is a non-factor.
If we want to pander then join the marketing team for Colt .45 Malt Liquor.
If we want to teach the citizens that we believe that the content of our character (and theirs, also) is what we are asking them to choose at the ballot box, then we need to drop all the ‘Shuckin’ and jivin’ and the “I don’t feel no ways tired” shtick of the professional liars we call politicians.
Develop a plan to bring long term improvement to America. Elucidate that plan. Treat all voters as if they have a brain and common sense. If they don’t then we just might motivate them to find theirs and begin using it. This includes “young skulls full of mush”, “gimme-dats” and the MSM oligarchy. Not everyone will vote for the best solution, but if we don’t believe that a majority will do so then it is time to pack up and abandon the greatest experiment in self government ever ettempted.
