Yes, the thought of male genitalia in girls’ locker rooms – and vice versa – might be distressing to some. But the battle for equality has always been in part about overcoming discomfort – with blacks sharing facilities, with gays sharing marriage – then realizing that it was not nearly so awful as some people imagined.

The editorial writer ignores the fact that the real issue is male domination of women. Male chauvinists like Obama believe that women have no right to privacy that men should have to respect. A penis is a man’s sexual assault weapon. Showing it is the same as showing a knife or gun. I wonder if a woman could get away with shooting that type of “gun” out of a man’s hands the way Annie Oakley shot 6-shooters out of the bad guys hands in the old 50’s westerns.
