I won’t say that he’s sick, but he’s hanging around people who’ve just convinced him that plastic surgery, steroids, and weekly counseling will get him to believe that he’s a woman. And each week just gets him one step closer to the reality that he’s some guy who’s paid people to make him into a fake man-women....who wears women’s clothing....and he’ll need some counseling for the rest of his life to keep him convinced of his situation in life.

I think you were unfairly cruel. A lot of what you say about the culture being forced to “revere the transgender” is true. The media and powers that be shove the LGBT agenda up our, well, let’s just say throats. I’ll give you that.
But Bruce / Caitlin is a real person, lived a good life, and lived 65 years with a horrible brain dysfunction that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Christianity involves kindness to people. I didn’t sense any in your post.
There is nothing offered patients like him EXCEPT trying out the other gender. Which doesn’t work to provide contentment or feeling normal 50% of the time. For desperate people, it is worth a try, again, since there is no other treatment offered.
I feel that people who have this horrible gender dysphoria should be provided the truth, and lots of healthy counseling. They need to know that their brain doesn’t work right, and that they probably will never have the ability to feel at home in a gender like 99% of people. They need to be counseled through this and become accepting of it, the way a man who loses a leg needs to accept it and live the best life he can.
And the rest of us need to be kind to people who suffer.

Your points are spot on. As Yaelle fails to realize in Post #5, the most damaging aspect is not Bruce Jenner’s perversion, but rather our degenerate society’s acceptance and approval of it. What psychiatry has always (and officially still does) classify as mental illness is now hailed as “healthy” and “courageous.” But alas, God is not mocked – a fact that should give us sober pause.

Which is it? Sick or evil? If it's a mental illness, how does having an illness make them evil? I think these people who feel they were born the wrong sex are mentally ill, and I feel sorry for them. I don't feel sorry for those who are pushing this agenda, that we are all supposed to go along with their illness, supposedly on their behalf.
