they got their camp up at city hall, they're keeping everyone up at night with fighting and screaming, they're having sex out in the open, using drugs, smoking, making a mess and leaving trash everywhere. I spoke to an associate of mine who lives in Seattle, he came over there to hand out sanitation kits and food. He also had a stack of job applications and a job listings.
When he came back two days later the police were there arresting a guy who hit another camper and he noticed that the list of jobs he gave them was no longer on display at the office tent up front. When he asked what happened to it, the man in the desk said he had no idea. He asked if any of them wanted to work and the guy in the desk told him, that in reality most of them didn't want to work.
He told me on the phone that he will not go back there ever again unless its to get these people jobs or to kick them out.
