And spun his plane into the sea?>>>> literally let his wife nag him to death. she pushed him to fly to martha instead of drive. He was not fully checked out on instruments and in a white out beleived his eyes over the instruments. There are old pilots and there are bold pilots. There are no old, bold pilots.

Excellent analysis. Also part of the problem was the two women weren’t ready on time. Kennedy had planned to fly earlier when visibility was good. His wife and her sister kept delaying the departure with preparations. He had never planned to be in the air at such a treacherous time in the evening...it just worked out that way.
