No. Obama CONTINUED the Bush direction in many respects, more open borders, more diversity inclusion, more BS, more PC, and of course, bigger, bigger and bigger government. Obama EXTENDED the Bush direction in these respects.
“The other way” from Bush, the REAL other way, WOULD have been Trump’08. Just as it is Trump’16.
The ONLY reason Trump didn’t get elected president in ‘08 is because he didn’t run in ‘08.
