The author is ignorant of economics, which is typical of most Americans of all political stripes.

Socialists see Corporatism/Mercantilism and mistakenly call it Capitalism.

Capitalists see Corporatism/Mercantilism and mistakenly call it Socialism.

Most of us fail to recognize the Corporatism is neither Capitalism nor Socialism. Both Socialists and Capitalists lose the argument by being mistaken about Corporatism.

Corporatism wins. Clinton, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi are all Corporatists. On any given issue they seek to increase the size of Corporatims at the expense of the other 2 systems.

The author also fails to realize the most Sanders, and most Trump/Cruz/Carson voters did not vote for the agenda of their candidate. They voted against the Corporatists, the Cartel.
