I can't wait to write about this! I and several of my associates have infiltrated Seattle's homeless venues including in particular SHARE/WHEEL (The people camping out right now at city hall administration) and these other places. Maurice Newhope, a homeless libertarian who works with us stayed there last summer.

My God... It is insane what goes on in Seattle. I think Seattle now surpasses San Diego and Los Angeles in homelessness. I'm not sure but the city is teeming with homeless.

Not to sound selfish or heartless, I do support needy homeless especially those homeless because of Democrats but most of these people have been on the streets for a decade or more. SHARE/WHEEL makes this problem worse by not addressing the continuation of the homeless problem. I found out that most of SHARE guests do not have a case worker, are not signed up for housing programs, do not do chores or anything. They just loaf.

They got indoor shelters inside churches, churches that BTW are very liberal and usually the pastor is a Womyn. Most of them are in the university area or in Greenwood which has tons of bars and venues for drugs and alcohol.

They also run several tent cities, AKA seroquel cities for homeless people who are outdoorsy types, most of them are vets, good people but many of them are so screwed up they can't handle indoor shelters and responsibilities there. All kinds of stuff has happened in the past.

The worst one of all is called The Bunkhouse. AKA Crackhouse. This is in Rainier Beach which is like the hood in Seattle so to speak. I heard they once shut the place down because the residents threw the dishes out into the street because they didn't want to clean them, the person in charge claimed they didn't have to clean them if they didn't want to. They also had a person there who got kicked out (wow really) for trying to burn the place down.

I spent two weeks there last February. I was in TC 4, Woodland Park United Methodist church and Gift of Grace Lutheran church. I was glad to get out BTW. Woodland Park was the worst one. It was located out in Greenwood near Phiney, which has tons of bars and the church also had a women's shelter upstairs. This guy who stayed with us was found passed out drunk and naked upstairs after midnight and Maurice when he stayed there last year told me that the man in charge, this guy from Holland was always showing up drunk and finally got thrown out literally and violently after causing racial problems.

Now they're out of money and are camping out at city hall sticking their dirty hand out demanding money from the city. Well, I know that a lot of the people at SHARE are good people, many veterans, many with jobs and since its too difficult for churches to get homeless help due to regulations they should hold them accountable in a major way before any money is given out. Have some professionals involved, require sobriety and case management, also have them pay for some of their own stuff. Most of these people get cash assistance, SSI or work and there are food banks all around the place so they should be required to contribute.

Then again who am I kidding! The city lets them stay there because they love it!!! They'll give them the money eventually THEN ITS BACK TO BOOZING AND BAWLING!!!

These folks have no reasoning ability.

I also appreciate how liberals think we need more illegals and refugees when we cannot even support all the homeless now. We have families and veterans that are homeless. Let’s try to take care of these people before taking in more that will be on welfare.

Seattle and Olympia wont take a tip from Nebraska or middle America and let the private sector and religious institutions do much.

Why would they want to solve this problem? The homeless problem is a club the leftists wield against the free market.

The leftists have created this problem through their minimum wages, crappy schools, cultural degradation, war against Christianity, and byzantine regulations against private property.

Solve homelessness like we solved the medical “crisis.”

Mandate all homeless buy homes.

Was recently in downtown(Westlake) Seattle for a week. Homelessness and open air drug use are noticeably worse than a year ago, and I don’t just mean pot, although that’s everywhere. Just one train station away in Capitol Hill everything was clean and serene.
