Too late. I will hold my nose and vote for Trump because he is NOT Hillary. That’s it. I do not trust him to not turn.
The Trumpites went too far.
You know you and I have gone at it a bit in the Levin thread.
I’m sorry about that, Grace. Brutal primary. Didn’t always behave my best.
But I am going to go ahead and say that it is my hope that Trump asks Ted Cruz to be VP.
What do you think about that possibility, Grace?
Trump-Cruz 2016 !
:accepting your outstretched hand:
Priority one: Taking out Hillary - for good. She should be done with politics after we’re done with her.
Priority two: Holding Trump’s feet to the flames and making sure that he keeps his campaign promises for the next 4 years.
I’m with you, Grace.
Nicely done.
Thank you
Thank you GraceG!
We have all heard of “low information” types.
But the vast majority of people in this country have enough information to know what is at stake here.
At least from their own perspective.
The libs, freeloaders, illegal aliens, refugees, etc. need a _resident Clinton.
The rest of the country needs a President Trump.
It is that simple.
Here is a quick vid from Sarah on the win tonight.

United We Stand, Divided we fall.
Don't think so; this rift is going to take awhile to close, if it ever does. At issue was not the candidates themselves, it was the level of rudeness and discourtesy I've seen displayed by Republicans on FR in the last 3 months. Jerks sacrificing all decorum for the sake of their chosen politician (yes, Trump is a politician).
What I have seen here confirms my decision to leave the Republican party almost a decade ago. The smug zealots among Republicans differ little from their Democrat counterparts in culture and character; many of them are overcome with hatred and envy, and a lot of them despise Christianity and Christians. And they both want big government, but the GOP just wants big government to do different things for them than the Dems want.
Me, I don't want big government at all, but I am apparently an anomaly.
Don't misunderstand; I will vote for Trump. But I will be voting only in self-defense against Hillary.
Good post and Thank You, GraceG.
I’ve tried to stay out of the fray, but sometimes it’s tough to sit idly by and be called everything we wouldn’t even call a Democrat, simply for not hating a candidate enough.
Time to rip the sanctimonious smirk off the cackle hag’s plastic face. This will be fun!!
Great thread, GraceG. Best wishes to all freepers.
Trump and his supporters are going to have to work very hard.
I have been so disgusted with the Republican Party. Candidates run saying how they are so, so conservative and once elected they swing over to the Dark Side.
I have been waiting for a viable 3rd party to oppose and then replace the Repubs. I know, a pipe dream.
I was able to convert the Wife from Dem to Repub. She was for Rubio, but on the TX primary, she voted for Cruz, like me.
I will, of course, vote for Trump, come Nov. I will have to do a LOT of work on the Wife to get her to stay a Repub. She does not like Trump. Not one bit.
My Son, a recent grad, is for Bernie. No way can I get him to vote Trump.
Sorry I can’t support gun control, illegal immigration, liberal Supreme Court Justices and high taxation. That is what we going to get with a Trump Presidency.
I say this sincerely, God bless Cruz for manning up and stepping away.
After all that was said, after his anger earlier in the day...it is clear that he took and followed good advise and dropped out.
Many did not expect him to do so. I give him a lot of credit for doing it.
This at least gives us hope that we can see a united party that will allow Trump to win a great victory in November.
As a supporter of his, I had pled with him to do so.

I believe Trump’s victory speech was also excellent. He opened the door for the healing too.
It going to take all hands on deck to beat the wicked witch, for sure.
I hope all the Trump supporters will actually volunteer to work for the campaign, because the dem machine will be in overdrive, MSM leading the way. It is going to get ugly, but we can beat ‘em.
Hit hit a lot of the right emphasis points, spoke in broad terms about Liberty and creeping Socialism, etc., and positioned himself hopefully for the future.
Good luck, Ted.
It'll be interesting to see how things end up evolving going into the convention with respect to his role.
Vote Trump
Amen - lots of sour grapes out there and it will not be helpful to keeping Hillary out of the WH (The People’s House).....
Reminds me of back in the 1980's when the Celtics (at home) were losing to the 76ers in the NBA Eastern Conference Championship - in the final minutes the whole Boston Garden erupted into a "BEAT LA" chant.
Donald - "BEAT LA"!
