Watched a 20 minute interview with Prince in 2013 with Tavis Smiley, on PBS.

Like Mr. Prince, his music, or not....he was a highly intelligent man.

He and I are 1/2 generation apart, and I never got into his music. But I may pay more attention, now.

I was flipping through the channels and I saw that Lady Gaga was going to be on Letterman. I had heard her name but knew nothing about her.

Yes - she came out wearing a head dress and mask and wore it for the first 10 minutes. But what a pro. Well spoken, entrepreneurial, etc.

Letterman said something like “So you were here 6 hours before the show. Six HOURS! Nobody does that.”

“Well - this is a big day for a small-town Catholic girl to be on your show! And I've got a dozen dancers and a new stage, I wanted to make sure it was perfect.”

She has her own group of costume makers, and she was giving them lots of praise. She does the designs. It was pretty amazing as all I had ever heard about her was her goofy outfits!
