Does this screen for the retired?

If not it is a bad study.

Doesn’t screen for my situation either.. Both husband and wife owning their own business and not filing.

Cash and carry.

Although my data inference isn’t as large as retirees. Again, you are correct - People need to learn to handle data, and when presenting data assume that the data will be consumed by those who understand analysis.

Most “science” and data repositories are made and kept only because their boss told them to get the data, and no one gives a damn who reads it, or uses it. As long as they get a paycheck and passed over another week without being fired.

I had the same thought.
There are a lot of baby boomer retirees these days.
Some were voluntary, some not.

“If nobody is working in one out of every five U.S. families, then how in the world can the unemployment rate be close to 5 percent as the Obama administration keeps insisting?”

43 million gov workers.
50 million on foodstamps.
90 million not working.

Unsustainable. Major economic changes ahead.

How many generations in some families have not known anyone in their family who has ever had a job?

Even if it doesn’t, 5% unemployment is an incredible lie. This country is in deep trouble.

Not too many in the senate or house appear to have jobs either.

Because the government numbers (courtesy of the donks and GOPE) are lies and the LSM supports them.

My secretary and the welfare office secretary shared the same front office area. After many years being the welfare secretary and listening to the clients whine about their checks to her but brag to other about partying the night before, she quit. She ran the numbers and they were raking in more sitting on the couch than she was with all her years of working 40 hours a week. Welfare clients aren’t looking for work so likely aren’t counted as unemployed. Their job is waiting for the mailman.

This cannot be. I turn on Rush’s talk radio program, and I am assaulted by voices telling me to purchase this or that. The economy must be healthy if Rush is so rich.

I have seen all these grown men sitting around during the day and I always presumed they were shift workers who worked the night shift. They really don’t have a job?

This explains the popularity of daytime tv guru steve harvey. He is on two shows on two competing networks at the same time. When there is nothing else to do, they watch steve.

Back in the mid 90s The Boston Globe did a family tree of a family that had three generations that didn’t work——lots of bad backs and nervous problems..

It was astonishing-—and would never be done by The Globe today-—which is why most longtime readers stopped buying it.
