In the new movie, A Mother’s Worst Nightmare, TV One will explore the murder of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.
The network announced a new slate of 26 original movies at their Upfront presentation in New York City.
Expectations for the movie will be high as the story explores one of America’s most controversial murders and trials.
TV One says:
A Mother’s Worst Nightmare is an urban true crime drama chronicling one of America’s most polarizing murder cases in recent history: the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African-American high school junior. The film centers on Sybrina Fulton, Martin’s mother, as she diligently raises her son in the predominantly African-American community of Miami Gardens, Florida. Much of the story covers the months leading up to Martin’s death and the events that steer him to get involved with the wrong crowd. After a string of school suspensions, Fulton sends her son to spend time with his father, but this only leads to trouble – in the name of George Zimmerman.
The movie will premiere in 2017.
Will you be watching?
It will be as authentic as the HBO Thomas/Hill drama.

When the case has already been tried and ajudicated, and the verdict was justifiable homicide, calling this a murder is pure propaganda.

Sounds like libel. Probably can’t win a civil suite, but Zimmerman was acquitted. Zimmerman did kill Martin. He did not, according to the preponderance of the evidence, murder him.
Was there a movie of how OJ committed murder? I don’t recall that movie.

Look at the left wing propagandists slipping in their biased spin. There wasn't a murder, I can understand why no one would put their name on that story.

It wasn't a "murder" it was a justifiable homicide. Trayvon needed to be killed.
