At one point I wondered whether Cruz was even a citizen. So, I did some research.
Cruz has a passport which means he is a citizen. This means when he applied for his passport he had to provide proof of citizenship. A Canadian birth certificate is not proof of American citizenship, so therefore he would have had to provided documents to prove his birth was registered with US Consul at the time of his birth, which makes him a naturalized citizen, or that he was naturalized when his father became a US Citizen, in order to get the passport.
That is why it was so important for Obama to go to such lengths to provide some sort of window dressing to the effect he was born in Hawaii and therefore native born (although he also still did not meet Article II,I,5 requirements.)
The passport office has the real birth certificates for both Obama and Cruz, and the documents proving citizenship, Cruz cannot be anything but naturalized, whereas Obama may be native born, but there is a greater likelihood he also is naturalized, given that he never claimed to be American born before he ran for President. And it is perfectly understandable, why this once really pitiful kid, would rather claim to have been born in Kenya rather than a Canadian maternity home although that certainly would have been a socially wiser, medically much better choice, for such a young unwed mother whose parents cared anything at all about her.
It is likely for Obama, that paperwork for his passport shows that he is a naturalized citizen and certain for Cruz. The passport office has his real birth certificates for both. I have a sneaking suspicion Obama’s B/C shows that he was born in a maternity home in Vancouver rather than Kenya, it actually fits with the known circumstances around his birth. But who knows? The truth will come out someday. For now, I am content to be called a birther, and have my suspicions.
The fact is, just as we know now, 100 years later, that Chester Arthur’s father in fact was not an American citizen at the time of his birth, a fact which Arthur was able to successfully hide, 100 years from now people will know the truth about these men, unless there is a President Trump, who I’m told, does not like to be made a fool of, decides to use the office of the president to find out the truth about both of these men’s citizenships.
The fact of the matter is that Cruz supporters don't care, their BS about the Constitution is just BS and nothing more. They figure Obama wasn't the real deal so they're owed one and their boy Teddy is a fine Canadian born Conservative just like them.
Meaning, they figure Ted will take care of them, screw the Constitution.
It's their turn to ignore the Constitution, case closed.

Cruz went to England in 1986 with a high school class trip.
Thus he would have had to have a passport back then.
The likelihood that Obama was born in a Vancouver maternity home is overwhelming.
