Also (cause complete thoughts aren’t in my wheelhouse) they are right now hooking up some high powered lines to the mill. I had heard a few years ago that they were going to begin selling power to, I think, Wisconsin Electric but its all been really hush hush, so I have little direct knowledge.
YUp, they had that in the works for some time. That is the reason that mill is attractive. It could be sold for a very large amount to cancel some debt. Its all hush hush now though like you said.
BTW, I was told that they couldnt sell electricity from that mill because of some law. They had to have WE energy manage the power plant. I suppose they got that all straightened out now.
What a mess hey? They dumb assed investors cant think beyond their noses and dont care to. They need to invest in that quinessec mill..tear out the machine and change over to tissue paper. Cant recycle asswhipe. And when the Escanaba mill gets bad-the same thing there, Take a coupel of the older machines out and change over to tissue paper. If they dont, they wont survive.
