There was a time years ago when Beck first came on the national scene, that my wife and I would watch his program on Fox News. Then he got more wacko and really conspiratorial and we lost interest and lost track. Then I see he's on some network I don't get. Before you know it, I see him start to dissipate any believability he once had, when he started comparing Ted Cruz to Moses.

I used to listen to Dr. Laura. Then 9-11 happened and for over two weeks there was nothing but emergency information and news on the radio. Then regular programming came back, but Dr. Laura was gone, and in her place this alcoholic (former) ex-disc jockey with a bad back. I liked him. When he drew his million to Washington I was right with him. He had that telephone on his TV show where he dared somebody from the administration to leak what was really going on. Those were the days he may have needed a bodyguard. Then something happened and he went off the rails. Probably started drinking again, be my guess.
