Who Has Sean Hannity Interviewed 41 Times Without Making News? Can You Guess?

One thing this campaign season has showed us is who are actual conservatives and who are the cynical opportunists with no values beyond their own bottom line. One of the biggest offenders is Sean Hannity. I’ve never thought that Hannity was the sharpest tool in the shed BUT I had always admired his work ethic, his hustle, and I considered him to be “one of us.” Now there is evidence otherwise. I don’t like quoting ThinkProgress, but, in this case, the odious Judd Legum hits the nail on the head:

Trump has appeared on Hannity an astonishing 41 times since he announced his campaign last June, often for the entire hour.

Apparently the writer has no problem quoting an extreme-leftist source as it provides his opinion masquerading as "fact". The "fact" in this case being simply quoting someone else.

“If your candidate was that great, there would be no need to worry about Hannity and Savage.”

Thing is, they can’t or won’t tell us why they think their candidate is great. I’ve asked. Repeatedly.

There is definitely a divide in thinking.

The ideologs prefer Cruz and are prepared to lose every state to prove thier rightousness. They put ideology before country.

There are those who see the biggest threat is Hillary winning the November election and willing vote for the RNC nominee no matter who it is.

There are those who see Trump as thier only chance to “burn down” the estabishment and destroying what’s left of the Republican party.

He generates ratings and sells ink. Always has and always will. From telling Larry King he had horrible breath to telling women they need to be penalized as culprits in the vacuum dismemberment of their own children. It's a business. End of story.

(This is not an endorsement. Trump makes my skin crawl. Always has, always will).

Hannity gives tough interviews, Cruz doesn’t like it and has threatened to stop doing his show. Just like Cruz went after Drudge. Cruz is an ideolog. You have to believe in what he is about or your his enemy. He’s the right wing version of Obama. He can’t see beyond his ideology.

He should have at least 60% of voters by now. Why not?

And how many times has Trump appeared on “Morning Joe,” on MSNBC, or “Meet the Press,” or sat for interviews or a televised town hall on CNN? You can’t turn on cable news without seeing at least one extended interview with Trump at least 2-3 times a week.

Television is a ratings-driven business. Attract enough eyeballs, and you’ll stay on the air, even thrive. Hannity and his producers (like everyone else in cable news) know that Trump generates an audience, so they book him as often as they can. If I’m not mistaken, Hannity has posted the biggest year-to-year audience growth on FNC, despite being bumped to the 10 pm time slot. Putting Trump on the air is one of the reasons behind his ratings spike.

What’s rather interesting is that Trump’s frequent appearances on Savage aren’t necessarily translating into banner ratings for his program. In Washington D.C., for example, Rush’s program is typically #3-#5 in the midday time slot, but Savage runs #13-15 in afternoon drive. Put another way, he loses his lead-in from Rush and sheds even more listeners during his time on the air. To be fair, he easily beats Hannity in that market, but you’d think his Trump connection would give him more of a ratings bump.

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN

(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

he loses his lead-in from Rush and sheds even more listeners during his time on the air.

From my limited experience it seems some stations go local for the 3-6 slot.

ex. Buffalo, WBEN after Rush goes to local Tom Bauerle Show, Savage replay from 10PM-1AM

Detroit..WJR Savage 3-5PM then goes local.

I am just stating facts.

Donald Trump has sometimes acted like a petulant child and IMO it has hurt his campaign, however I have to respect someone who puts up his own treasure to do what he feels is good for his country. Even if I disagree with some of his substance.

Given that, DJT knew the rules had been changed in CO. He knew he had no chance of securing any delegates. He has run as an “outside” candidate. This “whining” fits his narrative and plays to his base

Ted Cruz is an ideolog who has considered himself the “superior” candidate. This plays to his base.

Who’s base is larger? I would say, based on voter turnout, DJT.

It also appears the DJT has crossover appeal. He captures a larger portion of the independent and minority vote.

Ted Cruz cannot say this, because his scope of voters is too narrow. A sliver of Midwestern states are his base and only when small numbers of people vote or the state’Senate convention has arcane rules in place. His ideology is alienating voters. He base is not expanding.

This isn’t bashing. It’s observing.

No one, much less Cruz has suggested censorship. Cruz, who began his statement by placing the blame where it belongs on the protestors who were engaging in an organized campaign to shut down Trumps's rallies, merely called for a more civilized approach and more civilized language out of Trump who seems utterly incapable of either.

Whether Trump and the Trumpkins want to admit it or not, we have NEVER witnessed such a low class campaign by ANY candidate of ANY major party. Trump seems to believe that foul language, provocation, aggressive bullying, and incessant whining about what he CLAIMS is UNFAIR which is simply the result of his campaign's ignorance of the rules and lazy incompetence at dealing with them as every other candidate must. Trump baits his enemies on the left (and on the right) and then goes on autowhine when they respond.

Ours is the party of Ronald Reagan and not the party of Bill Maher or Lenny Bruce or Howard Stern.

Diogenesis, you know better than this and you ARE better than this.

Isn’t about time to ZOT Redstate.com? This is just an anti Trump propaganda site.

This hit piece on Hannity is just BOGUS! Hannity has had ALL the candidates (who would agree to come on), on his radio show multiple times.

Now it’s mostly Trump and Cruz, the only two with a chance to win. If he has Trump on “for the full hour”, he also has Cruz on “for the full hour”. Fair and balanced.

As far as his style and not “making news” goes, it’s intentional! He let’s the candidates talk and make their political points. He doesn’t have them on to attack them or play “gotcha”. His stated (over and over again, from the beginning of the campaign season) was to give his listeners access to ALL the candidates and their various views.

He has done so, NOT JUST TRUMP! I heard a show where Ted Cruz, was non stop Trump bashing, and was telling lie after lie about Trump. I was getting pissed at Sean for letting Cruz blatantly get away with it (it really was “over the top”), but you know what, he was just doing what he did with everyone else, which was to allow all the candidates to make whatever points they wanted to.

So this article is just LIES! DECEPTION! AGENDA DRIVEN TRASH! As is EVERYTHING from this rag.

Erick Erickson is a JERK! He has gone rogue. Conservative my A$$! It’s time to block the drivel from this traitor’s website.

Fox News?

Yea, I can see how that might be confusing.

How dare the other the news networks not report who is being interviewed on a competing network.
