Trump supporters publishing names, home addresses, phone numbers of CO GOP party officials

Evidently taking a signal from Roger Stone, who openly threatened to harass delegates to the GOP convention in Cleveland by publishing their hotel room numbers, Trump supporters in Colorado have been posting the names, addresses, and phone numbers of GOP officials in Colorado. They blame the officials for “rigging” the convention by creating a system last year for awarding delegates that Trump didn’t win.

The fact that Trump had the same opportunity as every other candidate to win delegates at the congressional district-level conventions the state has just conducted means nothing to them. The fact that Ted Cruz conducted an effective campaign to win delegates, and even appeared in Colorado, while Trump did neither, is also somebody else’s fault, not Trump’s.

So now, in an obvious effort to intimidate, they rail against unfairness and post personal information.

I came out on top when the age gap closed

If you're the top of the family heap, your brother must be a real charmer. And it's 'marinate' (verb), not 'marinade' (noun). And, yes, I'm sure you can smell people who correct your spelling/grammar/usage a mile away, and will gladly dispense your penny-arcade psychoanalysis of them in... 3... 2...1...

Cruz was hysterical today on Hannity. His internal polls must be terrible. Another 0 for 5 Super Tuesday humiliation is in the cards.

Not only will he go 0-5 he will likely finish third in three of those contests. The public votes Cruz loses.

Poor Pampers Cruzers, they are whining that they can’t get away with a rigged election

I couldn’t believe I watch Ted Cruz give a victory speech over a rigged election that he “won”

What is wrong with that guy?

Typical left wing liberal thug tactics.

You forgot “union” thug tactics. That is the official hysterical Cruzy talking point for the day. Keep it up and you will just push more anti-Trump voters to Kasich who want nothing to do with a raving maniac like Ted Cruz.

“... According to Sebern, RNC rules instituted in 2012 said that any state that holds a preference poll in conjunction with their caucuses must bind delegates according to the results...”

This was eliminated in Colorado...

The public did NOT get a count this year...

Atrocious!!!!!

The rules in Colorado are as fair as the rules in Florida. When is Trump going to release a percentage of those to Cruz?

Cruz has only himself to blame for his pathetic performance in FL. He rarely campaigned here.

So what are you planning to do? Where are you planning on hurting someone? Who are you planning on hurting? How are you planning on hurting someone?

Today your pathetic Cuban-Canadian was giving free passes to anybody wanting to commit violence against Trumpers again (!) because, don’t cha know, “Trump incites violence.”

Stop your whining. It is within the rules and therefore allowed. Cruz should have been better organized and maybe this wouldn’t have happened. As Rush says, it’s not cheating, it’s winning.

-- Jurors shouldn't have their names and addresses released. Most of the time it isn't supposed to be made public. --

It is public record, as are voter rolls. In the case of jurors, exceptions can be made in some trials, but the shielding of that information is time limited. The question of whether or not this should be the public policy has been debated and settled, long ago. Sanders supporter publishes "hit list" of superdelegates, just by way of example that the information is generally public anyway. Trump's delegates are likewise identifiable. The playing field is level.

“The caucus system was not fundamentally changed. What was changed was that a meaningless straw poll was not conducted — one that wouldn’t bind the delegates anyway.”

With the national rules change now governing, Sebern helped to lead the fight to end the short-lived presidential straw polls to keep the power of selecting delegates with the grassroots. Sebern wrote in an op-ed about the change:

Colorado’s caucus system is the way grassroots activists — We the People! — participate in and impact our political system.

Cruz and his people keep saying everything they are doing is legal and by the rules. Therefore it is legal to publish the names of his delegates and those who screwed the people of Colorado. So why do they care as long as it is legal and by the rules.

If they had ethics none of this would have occurred.

-- We win when the public supports the candidate not when the insiders select the candidate. --

That isn't necessarily true. The public is capable of making monumentally stupid decisions too.

Colorado had a presidential primary in 1992, 1996, and 2000. We changed back to a caucus system and saved taxpayers $6 million dollars. Interestingly, voter participation declined during those primary years. Primaries may not be the only reason for a decline in voter participation (understanding the importance of civic engagement and quality candidates are certainly part of the “formula”), but they also don’t offer the neighborly experience that caucus does.
