Trump Adviser Has Contributed Over $100K to Democrats Son-in-law backed Gang of Eight pols, supporters of Obama immigration executive action.

Morgan Chalfant. April 5, 2016 .

Donald Trump’s son-in-law, who has been informally advising the business mogul, has contributed more than $100,000 to Democratic campaigns and committees over two decades.

Jared Kushner, husband of Ivanka Trump, has become one of Donald Trump’s “very few” advisers in his campaign to secure the Republican nomination for president, (snip)

Trump’s unofficial adviser has a history of financing Democratic causes, contributing $101,950 to Democratic campaigns and committees since 1999, according to a review of Federal Election Commission records. Kushner, a real estate investor and newspaper owner, has contributed to committees supporting various Democratic politicians, including those that have been friendly to President Obama’s executive actions on immigration reform.

Kushner contributed $2,000 to Hillary Clinton’s 2000 campaign for U.S. Senate in New York and later contributed $4,000 to the committee supporting then-Sen. Clinton in 2003. (snip)

Recipients of Kushner’s contributions also include Sens. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Robert Menendez (D., N.J.), both of whom were members of the so-called Gang of Eight pushing for congressional legislation on immigration reform in 2013. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), a prominent Trump supporter, was a leading critic of the immigration bill, which he argued paved the path for “amnesty.” Sessions has dredged up his opposition to the bill during the current presidential race to slam Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), a former GOP presidential candidate who was also a member of the Gang of Eight.

(snip)

Kushner has also contributed to the campaigns of Democratic lawmakers who cheered Obama for granting temporary legal status to millions of illegal immigrants....

>Trump is in the race to make his friend Hillary POTUS. If somehow Trump ends up winning, he will govern just as Hillary would.

The only person is this trying to throw it to Hillery is Ted Cruz and the GOP. “#nevertrump” is really just #alwayshillery

Um, Cruz is not the one who was a registered DEMOCRAT a few year ago and who has given hundreds of thousands to Left Wing, America Hating Democrats and who had Hillary at his wedding and said she would make a great President.

Just how gullible are you? If Nancy Pelosi runs as a “conservative” in 2020 will you believe her too?

-——You miscalculate. This isn’t about a personality like it is for you. This is about knocking the pillars out of the foundation. Trump is merely the wrecking ball.-——

How is Trump going to knock out the pillars of the GOPe....?

I keep hearing this fantasy...about Trump destroying the GOPe....

At the end of the day, if elected Trump will need the GOPe to govern...since he at the moment is completely clueless on how to do that...

I can see Trump getting very chummy with the GOPe...

"Trump’s son-in-law is also a businessman"

So, Trump's son-in-law believes in buying political favors also? I'm a business owner and I've NEVER donated to a democrat.

"even if 70% of the country has a negative view of the conman"

I think I know where that 30% post their ugly remarks. Funny that they think Cruz is trying to steal the elections when it's Trump that's trying to buy the election.

Time out....we’ve been told time and time again that Cruz has never held a position in the private sector, but yet his law firm has donated to the Obama election effort. You can’t have it both ways!

Ted Cruz was hired as a partner Morgan Lewis & Bockius in 2008, during the presidential election in which Barack Obama became president. Morgan Lewis & Bockius made contributions totaling over $200,000 in support of Obama’s campaigns for President, as well as $750,000 to Democrats since Cruz became a partner.

Trump is beating Cruz, yet Cruz is supposed to be able to beat Hillary? Cruz supporters are nutjobs figuring with common core math.

If you hadn’t noticed, the destruction of the GOPe is already in progress. If Trump had not entered the race, we’d be trying to come to grips with the coronation of ¡Yeb! and none of this would have ever surfaced. The GOPe could have gone on pretending they have our backs and they actually care about our conservative values.

Just substitute “Cruz” for “Trump” in your statements and you’d be about spot on.

no....I haven’t noticed the supposed destruction of the GOPe at all....

Please show me where their influence and power have lessened...?

They still run the party, have the money, manipulate the rules....

As for Bush, I think it would be more likely Rubio if Trump had not entered the race...bushes numbers were pathetic at best...he got something under 300,000 votes in total...the people clearly did not want another Bush anywhere near the WH...

trump isn’t going to destroy the GOPe anyway, he needs them to govern since he is clueless at the moment how to govern...

He’s going to suggle right up to them...

Trumpism is no substitute to reasoned argument. It displays a vacuous mind not unlike the conman and snake oil salesman that 70% of the electorate now say they have a negative view of the man and even shows Benrie beating your “Dean Leader” by a walloping 17% pints.

Whereas many Cruz supporters haven’t donated a dime to him or to FR for that matter - then they make a big deal about others willing to put up their own money for any cause/reason - ironically ...hypocritical - no?

Anyone who's said that is obviously wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that Cruz's career has never demonstrated that he is anything other than a well-connected insider closely allied with the Bushes.

I seriously doubt you live in NY either, nor have an empire like Trump does. Your excused doesn’t fly.
