As a Wisconsinite, I have a different view of Walker. I worked his County Executive and Governor campaigns. His success is due to a republican majority in the state senate. After the recall election he seemed to change. He, dare I say, became a RINO. He is soft on immigration and.. sanctuary cities. He is in favor of increases in H1B’s. At one point he stated “that if we had a better immigration system we wouldn’t have to worry about securing the southern border.” Really? Tell that to the people of Arizona.
When he suspended his candidacy, he specifically stated that the remaining candidates should go after the frontrunner. He has always been #nevertrump!!
I remember Walker’s candidacy hurt by his early hiring of an open-borders proponent.
