What if Congress had a bill waiting to come out of committee in February of 2008 that would change the citizenship laws of all children born to US parents serving in the military abroad... The military should be considered the same as ambassadors in the law. Diplomacy is "carrot and stick." Why should the carrots get all the benefits, but not the sticks?

The military should be considered the same as ambassadors in the law I agree 100% as long as BOTH parents are US citizens at the time the child is born.
