It was the Saturday of my church's men's breakfast, which I almost always attend. My brother-in-law had called us on Friday he is an over the road truck driver and was passing through Albuquerque on Saturday (something that had only occured 3 times before over 10 years with him only accually stopping over once) and he wanted to take us to dinner, that combined with several other occurances made me decide to skip the breakfast. I was up early Saturday and made breakfast for us both I went up to get her and there didn't appear to be anything wrong but she didn't seem well and had been sick for the past week with a bad cold and an ear infection. I told her to get dress and we would go to urgent care. I was helping her and we were almost finish dressing her when the stroke hit. I saw it right away and called 911 and they were there in minutes and wisked her off to the hospital. If things had not fallen out in a way that caused me to choose to stay home that morning it would have been 2-3 hours before I would have found her.
I refuse to believe anything other than the Lord guided events and choices so that I was there where and when I was needed.
"So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."
Deuteronomy 31:6
Prayers up.
Were they able to give her TPA quickly to help with the stroke?

Thanks for the update. I am so thankful for this good outcome! Prayers for you both in the challenges ahead (so glad you can meet them together!), and for continued healing.
I have been praying for your family daily, and I’m glad to read that our prayers have been answered. I hope things will continue to go well.
Prayers, brother...
Thanks for sharing.
Prayers for your family
Thankful that your wife is back home and praying for her continued recovery. Prayers to you too because it is very hard on the caregiver.
More prayers up FRiend!
I’m one of those who missed your original posts. I will pray for your wife’s continued improvement. I really enjoy reading about people like yourself, who were put in the right place at the right time to save someone. That unexpected, maybe random reason that your changed your routine just thrills my faith sensibility. Best wishes!
I am so pleased with your news and answered prayers. We really miss you.
Thank you for the update. Prayers.
Father, You are and have been so good to the Kartographers and we unite in prayer to praise You for Your goodness and watchcare. We ask that You would continue the healing process and return Mrs Kartographer back to her husband and family, completely healed and strengthened by Your loving hand ... in Jesus' name, Amen.
Prayers to you both.
