I think it was very sweet.
That is bad. Just so phony, and his direction off camera makes me think he is selling a commodity. And the commodity is a family man who lives for his religion and his kids.
Though he doesn’t. He doesn’t even live with his kids much. He’s selling a fake commodity.
Seen this video before, and I don’t have a problem with it. It’s the nature of video production. And screw (or don’t screw) that feckless twats that disagree.
My problem with Cruz began where he held Trump and his supporters responsible for the recent Chicago mayhem.
This video has been around for a while.
Not that explosive but basically indicates he is completely uncharismatic and unelectable.
He is Al Gore with a whiney-preachy voice.
Don’t know why Cruz theoretically polls better with women than Trump. I find everything about him phoney and creepy. I think that Hillary would make running against him another McCaskill versus Akin race. He’s supposed to be so brilliant and such a great debater but his jokes stink and he is stiff and would make Hillary look friendly by comparison.
That part where Cruz’s mom gave him the look when he said she spent “hours in prayer” says a lot about Cruz’s character. His own mom basically let on that he is full of BS. He couldn’t just leave it at “my mom prays for me” which I’m sure is the truth, he just had to go with the extra exaggeration.
Kind of like “the whole Republican party is coalescing behind my campaign”. I’m giving Ted the same look his mom did.
His kids are adorable though.
I’ve been an extra in a movie. You do retakes. It’s normal. He just wants to get it right.

Ted Cruz and his whole family are working hard to save this nation.
Working in television for decades, dealing with children is always a task. It takes a lot to and add the exponential possibilities with additional children.
I saw the clip with his mother a while back. We howled when good ol’ Mom rolled her eyes when he wanted her to say she prayed for him “hours a day”. He is such a control freak. She was OK with the just-praying part, and nodded her head (not too enthusiastically, BTW), but when he directed her into the “hours” territory — just eeewww.
“My brother is a missionary in Haiti...but he doesn’t live there.” - Heidi Cruz. What? And look at her face when she says that lie, and then feels like she quickly needs to ‘fess up the truth. Lying is a culture in the family (just like Bill, Hil and Chelsea.)
Lying comes so easily to that couple. Why even TELL this lie? It's instinctive, that's why. Her brother is a pediatric orthopedic doctor in California and has gone on missionary trips, one to Haiti after an earthquake, and his work is very admirable and something for their family to be proud of.
But why try to embellish it with a lie? He's a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, he's not a missionary in Haiti!
Like the Clintons, the Cruzs would rather climb a tree and lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth.
She sheepishly realizes it's a lie, that she can be caught in the lie---watch her facial expression. Lyin' Ted and Heidi were made for each other.
If someone has different info on Dr. Scott Nelson, Heidi's brother, please clarify this.
