Republican leaders shouldn’t twist convention rules in Cleveland to block Trump’s nomination. Nor should they disrespect his voters. But they also should call out the veiled threats from Team Trump for what they are: a form of political blackmail. And no party seeking a mandate to govern should surrender to such lowball tactics

So, since Trump has made threats about what he will do if GOPe steals the nomination and gives it to one of Rove's "fresh faces" they should go ahead and do it because not to do it at this point would constitute surrendering to politicaL blackmail.

But it is not blackmail if Trump tries to obtain something to which he is actually entitled, i.e. the nomination by virtue of having a substantial plurality of the delegates when the so-called "fresh face" has few or maybe none since he didn't bother running.

The only entitlement Trump will have is IF he gets 1237 delegates before the Convention, anything less is same as zero.
