I don’t want a president who needs to keep something hidden (for his wife, children, job, marriage, whatever). I don’t know if that’s Cruz at this point but I’ll take an admitted scumbag who I don’t think is hiding anything over someone I have questions about.
On a related note, political blackmail is the biggest reason I’m against the NSA/CIA/FBI/gov having access to data and metadata on phones. And I’ll accept anything apple does to avoid assisting invasion of privacy. I don’t have anything to hide but I guarantee you some of my preferred representatives do. We HAVE TO be able to trust our representatives, especially when they do something that seems unusual. Right now it’s pretty easy to assume “someone” has “something” on a lot of representatives.

3. Trumps sins are well known and doesn’t try to hide from them.
That is why trump is doing well and not under any suspicions.
Trump isn’t running around pretending to be Mr. Perfect Saint.
Cruz wears a holier than thou mantle and expects people to believe he is the anointed one.
