I’ve heard there is racial tension in some cities such as Washington, where you have resentment by native born blacks of African born blacks.
And I’ve heard some of the immigrant blacks want to keep their kids away from the American born blacks, as they are concerned they would be a bad influence on their children........
I have a Nigerian friend who moved to Atlanta when he was 5. Told me the American blacks would make fun of him for doing well in school and his parents would spank him if he didn’t get all A’s.

Well to be honest......they probably would be. I won’t fault them for that.
