That’s the word out of UTAH, per *MThatcher, and Ted isn’t through cheating yet.
The point I would like to make is that at the National Convention, delegates cast their *second* vote for a candidate. They get to cast a *third* vote if the 1237 is not attained.
The 1237 RULE facilitates manipulation and corruption by the Establishment, if they don’t like the people’s choice at the state primary.
These individual delegates have everyone of them already voted in there respective state primary. Their state delegate value was allocated at that time, based on state primary results.
At Convention, these individuals will vote again, a second time, because they are now called “delegates”.
They are bound to their state results on the first ballot.
They can vote at will on the second ballot, and go against their state results.
This event changes the state primary’s allocation of delegates, by adding or subtracting from the original state value.
What happened to one man, one vote?
I know, the “rules” work for us and against us, in the case of Gore. Gore somehow won the popular vote. Bush won the Supreme Court.
I can’t think of any outcome that would be worse than a brokered and botched convention after the last seven + years of one disaster after another. Imagine Jeb, Rubio or Cruz being foisted on us, with a resulting win by Hillary or Sanders?
