It’s a gift to the democrats, something they can ridicule Cruz and the republicans about until the election. Every late show, every night. People who don’t know anything about politics will know that Cruz was born in Canada, and everyone will laugh at the right’s hypocrisy for making a big deal about Obama’s eligibility. Too easy. No wonder we haven’t been winning, too many among us are hopelessly bad at reading the electorate.
The issue has already hit a couple of courts. It’s not going anywhere. This is something obama can’t fight without issues coming up about himself. It’s kind of poetic, now that I think about it.

Challenges were not heard, not because of merit, but because of timing. The time to challenge Obama’s eligibility was AFTER the election, and BEFORE his Inauguration. During this time period it would have taken only 1 Representative and 1 Senator to throw the election into the USSC. The Dems are well aware of this and have already prepared suit’s challenging Cruz’s eligibility.
The Court has no stomach to remove a sitting President on eligibility grounds. The Court WILL entertain timely challenges and, in Cruz’s case, both the court liberal’s and conservative’s will apply Article II’s NBC requirement/intent. ie Canadians born of Cuban Fathers are not US Natural Born Citizens, no matter what their mother’s citizenship was.
I would love to see a Trump/Cruz ticket, if only for the spectacle of seeing Glenn Beck’s brain explode.
