I had planned on voting for Mr. Cruz in the AZ primary. I have enjoyed seeing Mr. Trump cause consternation and heads to explode (figuratively speaking) and wished him well. Now, I will vote for Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz can only blame himself for this. I do not know why he said what he said about Mr. Trump causing thugs and paid agitators to attack him but I do not believe it for a minute. The left is becoming more unhinged and more blatantly violent as time passes. I pray they do not go so far as to incite reciprocal violence.
I wish you would reconsider. Cruz is still the better man.
Yes, Cruz should not have said it. He should certainly have blasted the social justice warriors as Trump did.
Cruz was a bit too calculating here. He needs votes. He is not going to draw any Trump voters his way. Trump voters are set in mental concrete, sad to say.
His only political option is to get votes from Rubio and Kasich by mildly casting blame on Trump and trying to appear reasonable.
After all, according to Trump, he makes reasonable lies.
Two more votes for Trump in AZ (me and my wife). The funny thing is, my wife has been for Trump for months and I have been for Cruz. I started turning off to Cruz during the last two debates as he seemed to come off more and more "lawyerly." The comments last night solidified my commitment to Trump. My wife said about my change to Trump (and therefore, agreeing with her), "That NEVER happens!"
