I don’t make up the polls. They are what they are. And they indicate that Trump is by far our weakest candidate in November, for reasons that are readily apparent to all of us who have not drunk the KoolAid.

The gope and their cohorts do not want Mr. Cruz any more than they want Trump.

The super pac just created is there to recruit paul ryan.
Who says he doesn't want the nomination.
Just as he said he did not/was not/would not/seek/ or be speaker of the house.

Just before he listed his demands for being speaker...

I'm not sure what the shenanigan people plan for rubio...yet

Yes. Silly you. Plurality math in the primaries does not translate into majority math in November.

In answer to your trump-like self promoting, NO.

If Trump can not win the nomination straightforward, why on earth would we want to GIVE it to him? Donald knew the Convention nominating rules when he joined up. This is not some New York 3 card Monty or shell game.

Its highly likely Trump will drop out when he’s short Primary delegates and sees no direct way around the Convention.

It is highly unlikely Trump will win if he goes to Convention short of a clear majority. The delegates will not be nearly as blinded by emotion as are Trumpbots by “Walter” style pouty-face, everyone’s a liar and “I am so rich and fabulous” super RINO BS, he’ll actually have to earn it with better conservative substance. Say hello to President Cruz.

This has nothing to do with regular politics..

This is all about tearing down political correctness and completing exposing our 1st enemy - which it turns out is the GOP and also as most of us have known the media..

Burn it all down - I’ve been F#cked for the last time...

All of this throw your vote behind candidate A or candidate B is total bullshit.

The American People need to vote for who they want, and the slime balls need to get the hell out of the way of the will of Americans.

So, you win the White House and the day he is sworn in, he is a lame duck. Sure.

It could only work if done in total secrecy. That ain't gonna happen!

This is a big fat elitist turd LOL ...

The GOP has ZERO leverage to demand this of Trump ... Trump has all the cards ... he can tell them to pound sand.

It's pure fantasy that Cruz will have any role in a Trump administration, let alone be handed the responsibility to choose the supreme court justices.

Cruz already has the majority of the delegates he will end up with ... In 14 days Ted Cruz will be a junior senator from Texas ... who also ran.

So professor, you assume that Rubio and Cruz voters are basically the same voters and would support the other if their guy dropped out, leaving Trump stuck with his ceiling...which experts have been telling us is 30%, I mean 35%, I mean 49%...

You probably are among the same political intelligentsia that had Trump gone by August 1st.

I don’t know what the right plan is, but I am not for “stopping” Trump. However, he will need to be held to constitutional principles so he doesn’t devolve into a personality cult.

Trump and his followers decided to wage all out war against not only the GOPe, but also the Cruzites. So now we get to bargain for what we want as well. Trump did it to himself.

It was Trump who said Cruz was nasty and nobody in Congress liked him. Guess the Donald now gets to join the club.

Love it! It should be repeated only more forcefully:

GOP/DEM DELENDA EST!

Note tagline. I hope you don't mind.

So, the polls you're reading today say Trump is behind Clinton (not all do). What difference, at this point, does it make? He hasn't even started on Clinton yet. You're clueless if you're hanging your hat on that. You're drinking something other than KoolAid my friend.

Whether you loathe him or love him, Trump’s popularity is being fueled by the establishments attack on him.
It’s not mentioned very often, but let’s take a moment to think about this.
Trump has been bashed by the republican establishment like no other primary candidate in history. Assuming he not only survives that, but comes out with the undisputed nomination in July, how can that NOT bode incredibly well for the general?
The attacks he’s surviving today by the republicans are also immunizing him to some degree with the democrat electorate. If the Dems had a nominee that was being bashed by their establishment and the likes of Pelosi and Reid, wouldn’t you as a Republican find at least something intriguing about that? There is no doubt Trump will garner crossover blue collar and middle America dem voters in the general,(also disenfranchised with their establishment).
Trump could sweep the general....very easily.

Reagan flirted with a similar idea in 1980, when he was toying with the possibility of having Gerald Ford as his running mate.

But Ford very wisely shot the idea down, knowing full well that the POTUS cannot effectively “share power” with his VP, neither from a constitutional nor a practical standpoint.

Thoughts?

What is the matter with just doing all of this the normal way? Trump will win. That is the will of the voters. Anything else is an attempt to destroy Liberty.

You wrote: So, you win the White House and the day he is sworn in, he is a lame duck. Sure.

He will certainly not have to admit this. I rather doubt he would want to. His life is too lucrative that he will not need or wish to run again. He will appoint an excellent VP and, hopefully, leave the White House in much better order than today. It’s all a big chance.no one knows what the outcome will be.

His leadership and experiences in creating jobs is well documented. His resume speaks volumes. Let’s list the accomplishment of Ted Cruz verses Trump. Which CEO would you hire to run your business?

>> Plurality math in the primaries does not translate into majority math in November <<

You obviously didn’t major in math at Trump University.

But if you had, you’d have learned the following:

0.35 x 0.33 > 50%
