VANITY: If I could advise Trump, here's how he should open tonight's debate...

What Should Trump do in tonight's debate?

I understand that Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace will be the moderators.
The only member of the Fox-assembled hit squad I am surprised isn't there, is Jake Tapper, who, you will recall is the lone assasin who relentlessly created a KKK controversy by repeatedly baiting Trump into a comment about a reported "endorsement by the KKK," even though Trump had previously clearly repudiated any endorsements by the KKK and other questionable groups.
That the whole thing might have been a manufactured controversy by the previously disgraced Fox RICO hit squad was not even mentioned.

Although the Fox blonde bimbo is not likely to strut along the Fox Studios halls this time, her determination to be an advocate, rather than a preofessional is not likely to have been eliminated. She is firmly deluded this is about her, not about the candidates.

Now let's talk about Wallace. The permanent smirk and the smarmy demeanor pretty much defines him, and speak for themselves. His attempt to revise or edit an interviewees answer is legendary. He is a master at creating misquotation strawmen.

Bret Baier has not struck me as being as unprofessional and ambitious as the previous two, but all we can do is hope.

If I were Trump I would simply not show up. As an alternative, I would caution, at the start of the event, that he reserves the right not to answer a question that has already been asked and answered previously, nor will he be goaded into attacking a fellow potential candidate by the moderators.

All obvious "gotcha" questions can best be answered by a simple "yes," "no," or "That question does not address a real concern of the American people."

Last and not least, if any moderator pushes back at an answer she does not like, I would simply say, if you insist on an answer that you approve, I suggest you ask it of Mr. Wallace; or vice versa.

That's what I would do.

Perhaps because Tapper doesn't work for Fox, he works for CNN last I checked.
