RaceBannon, you are trying way too hard to continue to make a fool of yourself.

Cruz didn’t want to get rid of it, he voted for it. He voted for it, because he was for it. That is why people vote for things, because they are for those things.

He was allowed to vote against the Corker Bill in cloture, because they already had enough votes for it to pass. That is what a “safe” no vote is. Is a dog and pony show.

You are believing lies purposely constructed to make people like you believe people are on your side when they are not. It’s false opposition, kabuki theater. It’s the MO of the GOP.

Now you are telling me that I don’t know what I’m talking about because my guy defended it... BUT YOUR GUY VOTED IT INTO LAW!

And as such, it shall remain. A president just can’t come in and toss out whatever law he wants, unless his name is Obama, he HAS TO keep it and work with it unless it is repealed, because Ted Cruz and every other traitor in the senate except for Cotton gave it to us, and then Obama signed it into law.

And the best part of the Corker Bill is that it not only gave the GOP cover to pretend it was against the Iran deal when it was obviously for it, it gives them cover to do that on any other deal any other president chooses to make with anyone, because it illegally flipped the Senate Treaty Provision on its head FOREVER.

Does that sound like something a consistent constitutional conservative would do? It doesn’t to me. It sounds like something a government employed co-conspirator would do.

And I do not believe for one second that Ted Cruz voted to pass this thing that gives them a chance to stop this Iran deal when all the senate had to do to stop the Iran deal was NOTHING. That’s right, taking no action at all would have defeated it. Just stand there with your finger in your nose and you win.

But they didn’t do that, because they didn’t want to win. What they wanted to do is make you and me think that they wanted to win, but they just couldn’t muster enough votes to do it.

Kabuki theater, and Ted Cruz is an actor in that theater. They all are.

And that, RaceBannon, is the truth.

I believe you when you say you wouldn’t have voted for anything at the time that would have supported Iran, and neither would have I, or any other sane person.

I would have expected the same of Cruz, whom I supported at the time of this vote, and I was shocked that he voted for this. Shocked.

This was a betrayal to Americans, the Constitution, and if Iran ever gets a nuke and launches it, it was a betrayal of Humankind.
