70 years ago the face of the Democrat party was Harry Truman, a tough old veteran of WW I. A Republican might not have voted for him, but that Republican would have at least trusted Truman.

Fast forward to today. Nobody trusts Hillary, not even the folks who will vote for her. It's just bizarre.

yes, Once Upon A Time...people could really vote for either of two parties’ candidates without their being outright saboteurs, or alien enemy agents, or useful idiots thereof.

He's not a threat to the establishment as much as he is a threat to Constitutionalism.

The Constitution means nothing to him. Like Obama, he will see it as on obstacle to his desires and work against it to achieve his business and personal goals.

But, if he lucks out and wins the general, his supporters will dismiss all of this for 4 or 8 or however many years he is in power and promising (yet never delivering) on "the wall" while he enriches himself and works his "incredible deals".
