I keep seeing Trump supporters making this pathetic argument. Yes, Reagan appointed her to the District court - the lowest level of federal court, well before she had any kind of record as a judge to evaluate. It was Clinton that appointed her to the Circuit Court after it was clear that she was just the kind of liberal judge he was looking for.
