O'Reilly Interviews Cruz and Rubio--Amazing revelations!
2/22/2016 | Self

Posted on 02/22/2016 6:16:16 PM PST by GilGil

I just heard the O'Reilly Factor where Cruz and Rubio were interviewed.

The first revelation is that their immigration policies when it comes to deporting illegals is virtually identical to Trump's including the part about rounding up the 11 million illegals and deporting them. I was simply amazed. O'Reilly asked both candidates if they would deport the 11 million illegals and they both said that they would. Six months ago they were not this clear about immigration deportations.

The more interesting answer was from Cruz. O'Reilly suggested that it could not be done because the illegals were entitled to the due process provision of the law. Cruz emphatically said that this was not true and that using ICE the president had the total legal authority to deport illegal aliens in this country. Cruz re-emphasized that with his legal background this was the case.

O'Reilly argued a bit with Cruz and Cruz said that he knew for a fact the president had the total legal authority to deport whoever is here illegally without going through the courts.

Cruz in essence confirmed that what Trump wanted to do regarding deportation all these months is 100% legal and doable under the authority given the president. That was an amazing admission on Cruz' part and a confirmation that Trump as president can indeed deport whoever is in the US illegally. It also confirms that Trump has some pretty good legal advisers on his team and that he knows exactly what he is talking about.

Cruz repeatedly stated that when the border was secured he would enforce the existing law

CHUCK TODD: You still didn't say what you'd do with the 11 million.

TED CRUZ: Well, my view is first, we secure the borders and solve the problem of illegal immigration. And then I think we can have a conversation about what to do about the people who remain here. I don’t think the American people will accept any solution until we demonstrate step number one, we can secure the border.

CHUCK TODD: So anything's on the table? Potentially deportation or not deportation, but anything’s on the table for the 11 million--

TED CRUZ: I think we should secure the border and then have a conversation at that point. Stop using the Washington approach of I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today. The American people aren’t going for it.

http://www.politicususa.com/2015/07/05/ted-flops-cruz-falls-asked-solve-immigration-problem.html

Those laws require the deportation of anyone illegally in the US

Ted Cruz believes legalization is part of "common sense immigration reform." He said so directly, during the Gang of Eight fight, and affirmed even after the fight was over. And then for 9 months during this campaign cycle, Cruz denied ever believing what he affirmed so avidly.

Cruz is a liar and his supporters have blinded themselves to his past.

why should you be worried about “good ones”. It all depends on what you mean by “good ones” and what is this process?

Cruz does not intend to round them up. He intends to deport as caught.
Besides - run over to your guys site and look this up. He only supports deporting criminal immigrants now. Round up is missing last time I looked at Trump’s site.

Direct me to the link where you called trump a liar for saying Ben Carson was “like a child molester” or where you castigated trump for saying, even after it was proven demonstrably false, what sen coburn (didn’t) say. Both are repugnant lies.

So show us where you called trump out for that. Otherwise you’re just hypocritical hacks....
And don’t bother attacking me or attacking Cruz....that has zero bearing on YOUR character. Man up Cowboys....show us all your principles....or show us that you’re nothing but hypocritical hacks.

If trump is a straight shooter, then he meant what he said in the past. But what he said in the past differs from what he says today. He’s as much a weathervane as the other candidates, or more if you take at look at what he says issue by issue.

In all seriousness, if you have not watched Trump’s son, Donald, Jr., at a town hall in Elko, Nevada yesterday, you owe it to yourself to do so. I have a son and I know about imprinting ones values in your boy. Junior did not get his belief system out of thin air, it came from Donald, Sr. I consider his views as validation of the views of his dad.

He was right to fire the spokesman. What he did was unprofessional and juvenile. But Rubio, loudest liar, is relentless in falsehoods. He is the epitomy of the saying if you repeat a lie loud enough and often enough people begin to believe it. That benefits him because it diverts attention away from his double minded immigration RECORD. There is no doubt he is lying about Cruz especially on that issue and he knows it. I am losing trust in him more and more each day. But he is the establishment darling and insulated so far.

Well, thank you for your support of President Hillary Clinton, citizen.

Standard guilt manipulation designed to try and force people to vote against their conscience. It is ultimately up to God who wins. Our job is not to sell our souls for some short term "victory," but to do what is right until He returns. If He finds us faithful, our choices at that point will look pretty good.

Just to be clear, Trump makes the abortion exception for incest and rape. That means he thinks it's OK to kill innocent human life as long as the parents are guilty of certain crimes. How any Christian can support such evil is beyond me, either as a candidate or a voter. I have a personal commitment to never cast a vote nor a single ounce of support for such a person as long as I live. Given my age, I don't have that long to go, so I'm planning on hanging in there until the end.

Peace,

SR

Really? ask him to describe what a Natural Born Citizen is.

He knows it's not defined in the Constitution or in law. You should know that. Maybe you do.

The fact that you can look at the historical meaning of NBC and make a different interpretation of Natural Born Citizen does not change the law until the law is defined. We certainly learned that lesson well when we tried to apply the historical definition to Obama. It didn't work then and it won't work know.

The Historical Meaning and the Legal Meaning are not the same.

And Cruz knows that. So do Trump and Rubio. But this is politics not law.

It's more than that. Once, a mistake - twice is a known pattern. After the votes are in, we have apologizes coming from the Cruz camp. Either Cruz is incapable of hiring the right people and managing them or he is in on it and is eliminating his liabilities - just the mob whacks its henchmen after a hit. Either way, Cruz continues to show himself as immoral or just plain unfit.

Trump never called Carson a child molester. He said Carson described himself as having a pathological disorder, which Trump stated was as incurable as having a child molesting disorder.

Now please show me a link where you express your revulsion for Ted Cruz's mutant bread face.

Nice try. He said “which is like a child molester”. And I also notice you conveniently ignored the other, much more recent and indisputable one.

So, congratulations! You are officially a hypocritical hack. You’ve shown yourself to have no principles that you will not sacrifice on the altar of Donald Trump. How utterly pathetic. Let everyone who sees your posts know it to be true. I can promise you, I will be pointing it out every time I see your swill bleated all over this board.

You’ve earned it. Enjoy it.

Don’t bother replying, your words have no worth.

Nice try. He said “which is like a child molester”.

Which is like, exactly what I said. How many chromosomes do you have?

Don't worry. Cruz won't win the nomination so you'll be able to nurse your pain and play the victim for the next 4 years if you like. There is power in victim hood.
