I just heard the O'Reilly Factor where Cruz and Rubio were interviewed.
The first revelation is that their immigration policies when it comes to deporting illegals is virtually identical to Trump's including the part about rounding up the 11 million illegals and deporting them. I was simply amazed. O'Reilly asked both candidates if they would deport the 11 million illegals and they both said that they would. Six months ago they were not this clear about immigration deportations.
The more interesting answer was from Cruz. O'Reilly suggested that it could not be done because the illegals were entitled to the due process provision of the law. Cruz emphatically said that this was not true and that using ICE the president had the total legal authority to deport illegal aliens in this country. Cruz re-emphasized that with his legal background this was the case.
O'Reilly argued a bit with Cruz and Cruz said that he knew for a fact the president had the total legal authority to deport whoever is here illegally without going through the courts.
Cruz in essence confirmed that what Trump wanted to do regarding deportation all these months is 100% legal and doable under the authority given the president. That was an amazing admission on Cruz' part and a confirmation that Trump as president can indeed deport whoever is in the US illegally. It also confirms that Trump has some pretty good legal advisers on his team and that he knows exactly what he is talking about.
“Did Beck come up? Concerned for him since he was fasting for Cruz today. I bet he cheated.”
I bet he did too. If I were a Cruz supporter, I wouldn’t have to bet, I would know what Beck does and thinks in private. Like they know what Trump thinks and does in private.
But Rubio said that when he was running for FL Senator ... then he joined Lindsey, John and the gang of 8 with an opposite stance. He cannot be trusted on this issue. He says one thing in English, then another in Spanish.
I’m not going to question what The Donald says. I don’t need the lawsuit.
Expedite probably means ‘make them go through the long slow normal process behind the tens of thousands who have been waiting in their home countries for as long as 15 years.’
Amazing LIES
Thats not what he said but whatever.
I’m sure that’s what he meant.
I remember hearing Rubio say that we did not need to build a wall because we had far better means of enforcing the southern border. He said this when the campaign started. Tonight in the O’Reilly interview he said first and foremost the wall had to be built. Could not believe my ears.
“Cruz also pointed out that unlike Rubio and Trump, he is not for a path to citizenship for illegals under any circumstance.”
There are some videos you can click on where Cruz is wanting to legalize illegals.
Last summer, he was interviewed by Megyn Kelly and refused to commit to deportation of illegals.
Chris Wallace interview yesterday was so annoying asking about his tax returns. "Voters want to see them". BS, the establishment wants them more to go after him as much as they can.
We would not have had the 0 if they had done their jobs.
And what was Trump saying at that time?
Post a link to one.
Expedite probably means âmake them go through the long slow normal process behind the tens of thousands who have been waiting in their home countries for as long as 15 years.â

That is what I understand it to mean. It took me 14 years to become a citizen after I came here legally with a green card. And obtaining the green card was very very difficult. So coming back in is not a guarantee in any way.
Yeah and the best legal minds that consulted Trump on his immigration policy is non-other than Cruz back in 2011.
Enforce the law. I agree with Cruz. We are not a police state.
No, you are mistaken. Senator Cruz speaks the TRUTH! Touchback amnesty, what Donald Trump supports, is when the “good ones” get to return. They would get to jump the line and gain citizenship. Senator Cruz supports NO legalization for those deported. He fully supports deportation as is written in the law. Donald Trump and Marco Rubio are the liars!
I’m sure that’s what he meant by “expedite.”
That is why I said “amazing.” I do not belive them for a minute.
You know you’re right - its all so clear now...
If trump is a straight shooter, then he meant what he said in the past. But what he said in the past differs from what he says today. Heâs as much a weathervane as the other candidates, or more if you take at look at what he says issue by issue.
I agree. I'm not saying that illegal aliens shouldn't be deported, just that there's no way to do it without possible review by the court system (and there shouldn't be; everything in government should be reviewable -- we have checks and balances).
The point is that if, say, a liberal President claimed that a conservative firebrand was an illegal alien and tried to deport him, there should be an opportunity for an impartial review to verify the person's citizenship or legal residency status. There will also simply be mistakes in any large-scale deportation that would need to be corrected.
How does this affect illegal aliens? Well, they could file for a review, since you can't tell until the review if it's justified. Any actual illegal aliens would lose the appeal, but you can't avoid judicial review.
The point is that we're not electing a President, not a dictator who can exile people without any checks and balances.
