But most folk believe that claiming a person who considers himself a Christian is not a Christian is as personal as it gets
Donald Trumpâs one word message to Pope Francis from South Carolina: âWoo Hoo!â
This time The Donald doesnât need a Tweet; he doesnât need FaceBook because the voters of South Carolina are getting this message out: âTrump won the primary!â
The 10-plus point lead he scored over runners-up Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz in the South Carolina primary says it all, even with a mainstream media claiming it couldnât happen, Donald Trump could very well be on his way to âMake America Great Againâ by capturing the U.S. presidency.
The MSM spins it as Trump picking a fight with the pope.
It was the other way around.
Yes. And the pictures that combine images of the pope and Trump, invariably show the pope looking beatific alongside Trump caught in the middle of some word that produces the “ooo” look. The media isn’t even subtle any more, which makes the egg on their face that much prettier.
The Popes response to the question included this:
"And then, a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian."
---So walls are not bad, but "only" walls and nothing else for your fellow man is what he was talking about.
"This is not in the Gospel. As far as what you said about whether I would advise to vote or not to vote, I am not going to get involved in that. I say only that this man is not Christian if he has said things like that."
So IF IF IF he was taling about breaking up families and all the other crap, not a Christian.
"We must see if he said things in that way and in this I give the benefit of the doubt."
So lets check and see if he really said what you claimed Mr. Reuters reporter. As for the Pope, he is giving Trump the benefit of the doubt he did not say what Reuters was claiming.
And the sheep who trust the media run out and claim the Pope called Trump a non-Christian. Sigh
There have probably been worse Popes, but Frank is clearly in the top five.
Even Trump has come out and said the media initially misreported the content and context of what this dumb Pope said about him, and that it was actually much softer. I think I have seen one article to actually just simply give the whole question and answer. Which you would think would actually be the first thing folks would think to look for.
Welcome to the internet, the 24 hour news cycle, the social media thought blurbs to get outrage until the next blurb gives new outrage and the old one is forgotten like a fruit fly going from one rotten apple to another.
