I see it in the context of an inflated medical system. Costs have grossly outstripped inflation in this country. And, once again, Trump made this statement in direct response to Letterman's challenge about the presence of waste and fraud in the system.

I think the current system has serious flaws largely due to lack of competition and market forces. Apply competition and then we'll see where the markets take what doctors make.
