Well fine. Then after that first iteration, if nobody gets that majority, Carson and/or Rubio would get to recommend.

That’s kind of late for Trump to bolt... he seems more of the vindictive kind if truly pressed. The stink he could raise, the skeletons in closets his tongue could rattle, might figure in more here. HOW DARE YOU DO SUCH AN UNTRUE THING???

What is so interesting is Cruz, Rubio and Bush all three beat Trump in a head to head for the nomination. The RNC encouraged all the candidates for the screwed up contested/brokered convention. Remember we started out with 17 with many of the back benchers to be the spoilers by spreading out the delegates.

Technically Bush, Carson and Kasich may be cast aside early because of their low delegate count. By that I mean their influence would be virtually useless at the convention.

It is shaping up to be one hell of a primary/convention season.
