Ivy league schools, Harvard Law, elitist connections, wifey on CFR...until he decides it would further his ambition to become an “Outsider”.
We’re not that dumb.
This article is idiocy, full of speculation and erroneous conclusions and is the highest order of equine feces. It totally excludes his efforts prior to joining the Bush administration - almost all of which entirely contradict the pablum cited above. Therefore, from reading your post, apparently some of us are that dumb.
I went to Harvard (Senior Executive Fellow at the JFK School); I worked in the Bush White House as a Counterterrorism/Intelligence Advisor to Governor Ridge, who’s no conservative; I was a member of the NSC Staff; and I have “connections” to people you consider elitists. Does that make me an “insider”? Short-sided, shallow-minded people who refuse to look beyond those factoids would certainly think so. But then, it ignores all of the other details of my life and career, doesn’t it?
You seem to forget (or just aren’t aware) that Donald Trump is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, which is an IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL. Does that disqualify him too?
His “wifey”, as you say, had a five-year term appointment (a recruiting mechanism for the CFR) to the CFR and contributed economic research to the TF53 report entitled “Building a North American Community”. She neither authored nor co-authored any of the report, but contributed only economic data. When the report was published, she fervently disagreed with many of the conclusions, authored a dissenting memorandum of her own (which was not well received) and was not asked to remain with the CFR. That, as Paul Harvey would say, is the rest of the story.
