I am sick of Donald Trump. Utterly sick of him. I'm sick of his bullying, I'm sick of his whining, I'm sick of his profanity and I'm sick of his constant repetition.
Now I'm sick of his lying too.
Last night he blamed 9-11 on George W. Bush and he came right out and said that Bush lied the US into the war in Iraq. I think this time he has burned one too many bridges.
Asked to defend his 2008 comment that George W. Bush should have been impeached, Donald Trump said: "They lied. They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none, and they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction."Watch this exchange. Bush does not interrupt Trump but Trump can't shut up.Interviewers should press Trump on this: What evidence does Trump have that George W. Bush and his top advisers knowingly lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? How many other government officials does Trump believe were in on the deception? What does Trump believe would have been the point of such a lie, since the truth would soon come out?
BTW, Donald, the official tome on Iraq, the Silbermann-Robb report, says Bush did not lie.

He was bluffing his own people, and he was bluffing Iran. It would have been impossible for any intelligence agency in the world … to have determined that Saddam had destroyed his weapons of mass destruction."Silberman recently addressed the constant lying from the left (and from Trump):Even if the intelligence agencies had performed flawlessly, they would therefore have found themselves advising the president of grave dangers. Though it's politically convenient to constantly repeat the lie that Bush lied, no one from the left really ever bothers to explain why Bush would lie, as Kristol asked above. Trump sure as hell doesn't offer an explanation.
Never mind the fact that WMD's were found all over Iraq. I suspect there were far more found than we are left to know. It would be kept quiet so as not to tip off Al Qaeda and ISIS to its existence.
Never mind that a large part of the reason for the Iraq war was the same as the excuses for the war on Libya:

It's something I found and do find detestable for a self-proclaimed conservative. This is the mindless throw-away line of a liberal. It was following 9-11 that Bush built the security structure which kept the US safe since and which Obama has enjoyed and in some ways expanded upon. Trump has frequently accused Bush of knowing that 9-11 was coming and ignored the warnings. About that, Politifact says:

I was in the first trip there, not the second. My brother went the second time and learned exactly what IEDs are.
Nation building, as you neocons so fondly call it sucks. Especially for soldiers. There was no real reason for the second trip - but the Saudis were afraid for their oil reserves, and we needed to keep the oil supply safe for the rest of the world.
I too saw the photos of the convoys leaving Iraq bound for Syria and the Bekaa valley. The Democrats sat and delayed, along with the UN, until the WMDs were mostly out of the area.
Since the decision was made to go, we should have been allowed to prosecute the war FULLY, win completely, and get the f_ck out of there, and move on to Iran instead of trying to teach democracy to a bunch of Islamic tribes that had no understanding or desire to have a European style government. If the desire was to keep America safe, we chose the wrong country to invade. Iraq had no part of 9/11 - they were a threat to Saudi Arabia, not the US.
The ME was forced into nations after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, given borders that did not fall along tribal or religious lines, and will never succeed. Spending any additional American blood to build nations is a folly at best, and the globalist Bush family does indeed share plenty of blame.

Don’t you remember they were banned from having such weapons as part of the surrender agreement after the first Gulf War? Remember the UN weapons inspectors, no fly zone, tear gassing the Kurds? Anything ringing a bell?
Trump cannot control who supports him, I’m sure a bunch of folks over at Stormfront like Trump, doesn’t mean Trump necessarily endorses them.

When W didn't move on to Iran I knew it wasn't going to turn out well for us.
I remember feeling puzzled went we didn't go.
I wanted him to nuke Iran before we committed a single soldier.

If he was reading their talking points basically verbatim, then yes we could conclude he supports them, or at least, is an ideological fellow traveler.

Will ANY Trump supporter here at least admit that Trump is WRONG about Bush lying about WMD? I’ll support Trump, but he is flat WRONG about that. Or are so many of use “Freepers” really as bad as “The Other Side”...

Trump also said in his book that Iraq’s WMDs were a threat one year before Bush was elected.
I won’t vote for Trump until he demonstrates to me that he is smart. I know he is business smart, but I need to hear more than, “I’ll get the best people for that.” I want to hear him articulate his position on important issues. If he starts doing that, and I agree with him then I will vote for him,
