Texas Weather: If you donât like it, wait 15 minutes and it will change - whether you like it or not :-)) Lived in Dallas area back in the 1950âs when the massive tornadoes drove thru the city. These were just as bad, certainly no better than the same seen dropping down in the last few years. In the country, those who have no storm cellar look for the nearest culvert and crawl inside. With 4 dogs, it can become just a little crowded but safer than hiding under a bridge! One twister took our barn in the past 30 years. Ripped it out of the ground and moved on to wipe out an abandoned home down the road. Fires and twisters. Weâve seen it all.I have friends in Robertson County there and I hear all about the weather. Wow. My favs are the dust storms that sometimes come up. Reminds me of Arizona and Saudi Arabia...wind and sand.
